I'm a sucker for puppies - so cute! That one looks like such a baby. Are you branching out into dogs now?

As sweet as a puppy is, it grows into a dog and I prefer cats to dogs!!!

aw, what a little sweetheart Yolanda! Congratulations and welcome to the new member of the Bliss team!

I don't know why you lot are being so complacent. A dog appears to be eating Yolanda and you are all making cutesy noises. Who will feed the seven hundred cats if that canine eats her?
Shouldn't we be calling somebody? Who deals with man eating puppies in the Netherlands? the fire brigade?, the police ? the people at the Frans Hals museum?
This could be very serious.

What a cutie! What is his/her name? And how about the cats?

Hello Yolanda.
auf gut deutsch..
Du bist auf den Hund gekommen:))
A really cute puppy.
Looking at your picture and I remember the day I met Molly.
Almost 8 years ago my neighbour Nora walked along the street with her 6 weeks old black Labrador puppy "Molly".
It took me just a second and I fell in love with Molly.
From that day on we walked together for miles, climbed the hiking trails and shared many specials moments.
Now Molly can't walk with me to the lake anymore. She developed arthritis in her joints. Almost every morning I walk two miles to her house. Here she waits for me and we walk together again for a short while. Friends forever!

No, don't tell me - you haven't added to the four-legged family! S/he is the most cuddlesome bundle and I wonder which of your felines is going to be first to befriend her/him.

That's a cute puppy - but my guess is that this pup is being introduced to Aunt Yolanda and really belongs to someone else. Am I right?

Yolanda, what a cute puppy! I bet he will be spoiled very much. Surely the cats and he/she will come to a peaceful arrangement. So very sweet, Andrea

Lovely puppy! However, on to more serious issues. I thought I should let you know that I have designated October 12th as 'let's all post cat photos and dire poetry on our blogs' day or LAPCPADPOUB day for short. As I'm sure you're aware, this is in response to JAS's comments on too many cats on gardening blogs!
See my latest blog post for more details.

Hi Yolanda,

I have read JAS' article in 'The Garden' magazine and can confirm he made certain remarks about bad poetry and cats. However, as you can see HM is in the forefront of leading our much needed counter attack!

I have also posted bad poetry (yesterday) and a cat (today) as a preliminary shot across the bows...

;D

That's a funny looking kitty, Yolanda! I'm finally starting to get caught up with my garden-blogging friends again after a long and trying summer of illness and misadventures. I'm having surgery sometime in the next month or so, but I'll be doing lots of reading even while recuperating.

I love Jeeves ! He looks like my bad little Nibbs and previous tuxedo cats we've had, and they always seem to have such purrsonality. I'm sorry that someone would do such a thing as abandon such a lovely cat but I'm glad that you are able to tend him at least out of doors.

Jodi took my comment. That's the oddest looking "kitty" I've ever seen!

What a sweet face, and don't you just love puppy breath? I know, dog breath isn't so nice, but there are other rewards as they grow. Enjoy your new family member. As for the other comments, the cats will do just fine - they were there first, and they will let the dog know. In time, there will be some great friendships there.
