A Blissful Easter!

When Spring Appears

Meadowlarks
Give lusty cheers
When spring appears
When spring appears

Buds and seeds
Prick up their ears
And blades of grass
Show eager spears

And only icicles
Weep tears
When spring appears
When spring appears

What a nice Easter photo tour - with beautiful flowers and a beautiful little spotted foal [guess that's the right term for that age horse?]

But Yolanda Elizabet, your Leucojum look so delicate with the green edging, and that reminds me that mine didn't bloom this year - phooey!

Happy Easter from

Such evocative images, just lovely! I especially like the Snow-in-summer mixed in with your tulips and hyacinths. Now that's the look I like without having the real snow!

It's sleeting here on Easter eve. I've never seen such a late cold snap as we're having this weekend. Your spring images are only a few days away for us---we're expecting 80 degrees F. again by the middle of next week---but it seems awfully far away this moment.

Been away for the past ten days so it's taking me a while to catch up with all my blogging friends and what you've all been writing about recently. I loved the story of Surprise and the kittens, as I'm crazy about cats. Your Easter blog is so pretty and full of life. Your doronicum daisies are much farther on than ours. I loved all the chickens and eggs too.
