Time to Say Goodbye.....

You've seen this movie:

But have you seen this one?

Have you read this interview?

Or read this?

Inaction is inexcusable

Are we living in the Age of Stupid?

Is it Time to Say Goodbye (por ti volare)?

Goodbye to our big, beautiful blue planet with all its living creatures who sail on her in this infinite universe?

Is it?

You decide!

Literally

And especially for many of my garden blogger friends this message:

There is more awarness today. Many of us have opended the eyes.
One thing we could do behave at best, respect the earth and teach our children!

Excellent posting Yolanda, thanks for the thumbs up on this too! Hopefully more bloggers will join in today. I missed this so have gone the update route. Sorted now though - even a Sunday walk is worth saving :-D

Happy Earth Day to you too YE. A big ole tree hug to you for helping the earth. We all need to do what we can.

I don't think we'll be saying goodbye to the earth, but it may say goodbye to us if we don't get our collective act together.

Great Earth Day post Yolanda!

Hi YE, I am on board. We need to think of the future, not just ourselves.

p.s. Yolanda, the last video with Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman is magnificent. Thank you for sharing it, the other videos, and the Rolling Stone article.

"An Inconvenient Truth" was sobering and frightening. Seeing so many high-profile people following suit with similarly-themed motion pictures speaking out is encouraging.

James Lovelock's predictions are truly terrifying for our children and grandchildren's futures. I pray he's wrong. The earth will go on without us, but we can't go on without it.

Earth Day is every day in my home, and has been for a long time. I'm only one person but I do what I can. I get too depressed watching those type of shows... though I do watch them. I think EU is way ahead of USA in such things. In fact, I learned about recycling in Germany in 1988. And green roofs started there, too.

Very appropriate post on this Earth Day. I hope we are not too late, and we can save our spaceship earth for future generations.

Hi, Yolanda. I'm Rusty's wife (Dragonfly Garden Blog), Maritza. He just sent me your blog. Thank you for the Bocelli/Brightman video. The angels surely have a spot reserved for these two in the angelic choir in the far-distant future. Let's hope "stupid" doesn't win out over those of us concerned about our planet and its precarious future. Because if the nay-sayers win, they take us all down with them! Happy Earth Day!

I am sure many people are aware, but its the life styles that need changing, better public transport would help encourage people to leave there cars at home, but it is still so hit and miss and expensive!
Where I live we still only have one bus in the morning and one in the evening and that arrives in the village before the connection gets in in the town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful music and a wonderful post, Yolanda! Earth Day should be everyday, as they say. Oh and sometimes I kill houseplants too, but it's entirely unintentional.
