Green Pretty, Pretty Green!

Green pretty!

Luscious green

Landscaped in green
Natural green

Shaped in green

Variegated green

Covered in green

Pretty green!

Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty if only we have the eyes to see them.
John Ruskin

Bliss Productions would like to thank the gorgeous Camelot Babooshka con brio aka Willow for her charming assistance.

Wonderfull green shots!

And marvellous photos of your cute cats as well! They are my favourite annimals but unfortunately, we do not have any pets.

BTW, the forcer will be delivered by mid-April! Cross your fingers that it will arrive safe and without and damage! I already moved my rhubhard to its new place in my boxwood garden. I am sure the forcer will look great over there!

Have a great week-end in the sun!

Camelot Babooshka con brio is the best green on the page ... although covered in green is beautiful too.

Your Ruskin quote is so very true, isn't it?

Beautiful! Things are not that green here. I am in a colder climate. A couple of weeks ago we still had snow. Things are getting green slowly.

Green makes you feel relaxed. Can never have enough green!!

A nice study in green! Love you kitty pictures. I had a short haired gray cat for many years so your beautiful blues remind me of her. Those aren't peas already this year are they?

What a beautiful montage of green! I'm wondering about those peas, too. When mine look like that, I eat them on the spot. They never make it into the house!

Lovely greens, a sometimes underappreciated color in the garden.

Hi all, thanks for visiting my blog and your comments.

Carol, I'm glad you liked all the green, it is a lovely colour isn't it? My favorite is ...., it starts with a p, ........................ purple! :-)

Anita, perhaps there will be a cat for you in the future? I hope your rhubarb pot will arrive soon and in one piece. Good luck!

Kate, I agree with you on my little Russian Blue Willow, she has the best green. ;-) The Ruskin quote is so true and it also demonstrates that you and I were thinking the same thing re your post.

Priscilla, things are not so green here either, except for grass. These pictures were taking in June/ July last year. We are both looking forward to better and much greener times. :-)

Hi all,

Petunia and Lostroses, those are last year's sugar snaps and yes, they even made it into the house, and were delicious. Can't say the same about my peas though, they are too tasty to eat straight from the pod. ;-) I'm looking forward to this year's harvest!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos with us. Green is my favorite color, too, as is probably the case with many gardeners. I love the whimsical way you write!

I love the pea picture especially!

The green cat's eyes are so subtle...and so entrancing! What a fun mixture of greens -- very springy.

Beautiful photos of all that greenery! And how I long for it - our lawn is still brown/grey, the trees are bare and not much to be seen in the flower borders. But luckily it will not be long til we can enjoy it all again!

We gardeners do like green! My yard is like the covered in green except that it is chickweed! Well, actually a few bags of it are sitting out for collection (many many more to go).

Very nice and relaxing to view! Thanks! Btw, I posted the African Blue Basil.

Green is probably my favorite, too, and I enjoyed this photo essay, Yolanda Elizabet.

We're green in Austin right now, and everything looks lush. But summers are usually hot and dry. That's why the Austin garden bloggers are a little giddy in spring:)

Hi all and welcome,

Greg and Chris, it's obvious that you are not the only ones who like green. ;-)

Genie, my little Willow's eyes are even more beautiful than on this picture. She has the most expressive and deep green eyes I've ever seen in a Russian Blue.

Kylee, the peas looked good and tasted even better! ;-)

Mia, not long now and you will have lush green all around you too.

GG, all covered in chickweed eh? Well, it's green! ;-)

Annie, it's not only in Austin that gardeners get giddy in Spring. Here we have had many months of dull grey skies and ditto weather and then .........suddenly, nature whacks us in the eye with all these beautiful spring colours of flowers and greenery. Isn't it just absolutely marvelous? :-)

Groen is mijn lievelingskleur en jij laat schitterend zien hoe mooi de verschillende tinten zijn. Ik ben erg blij, dat Willow jun. veel van het allerallermooiste groen heeft meegekregen.

Lovely pictures and lovely green eyes! :-)

Hi Gerti and Thalia,

Green is a wonderful colour, we all agree on that. It looks great whether it is a shrub, a tree or beautiful green cat eyes. :-)

Gerti, jij bent een bofferd met zoveel mooi expressievol groen om je heen, ik ook. Ogen zijn de spiegels van de ziel.

Although I'm a gardener, I think the prettiest green is in that cat's eyes!

YE: Love your 'green' photos! Can't pick a favorite as green is a favorite! Well, maybe the cat eyes.
